Electric vehicle manufacturer PT Gaya Abadi Perfect Tbk (SLIS) plans to raise capital through a rights program in line with the company's sales growth of electric motorcycles.
SLIS CEO Wilson Ng said the company will take corporate action in the near future in the form of additional capital under the rights program.

He said the company's motorcycle sales in January 2023 totaled 615,416 units, up 38.6 percent year-on-year and 27.3 percent month-on-month (mtm), with the biggest support coming from electric motorbikes. This activity exceeded the level before the COVID-19 pandemic of 8.1% per year or 569,126 units in January 2019 last year.
Continuing as a company with a TKDN score of more than 60 percent and recording 250 units of IOI e-bike exports to Malaysia for the distribution of e-bikes in the campus area and becoming the main supplier of 3,000 electric motorbikes in the urban area of Bogor. He continued, since 2019, the company has partnered with Grab Wheels to provide 4,000 electric vehicles to be used by GrabFood partners, and together with the BTN bank, the company donated the Selis Recycle Trike or electric garbage truck to BTN. environmental services provided by the City of Bogor.
