Entering 2023, ADVAN has again announced its newest product, a laptop called Soulmate.
This 14-inch but lightweight device is here to meet the entry-level laptop market in Indonesia.
However, the ADVAN Soulmate is credited with strong performance for basic everyday computing needs.
The reason is, this laptop comes with the power of the Intel Gemini Lake N4020 processor which is supported by 4GB of RAM.
The presence of this portable product also introduces the latest Windows operating system that is ready for users to use. Interestingly, this newest portable product from ADVAN is available in the Indonesian retail market at an affordable price of only IDR 2 million.
These several things indicate that the ADVAN Soulmate program is intended to be suitable for use by undergraduate and university students.
As mentioned, this laptop made by a local child is powered by an Intel Gemini Lake N4020 processor with a base clock speed of 1.1GHz.
The processor from the Celeron family has a dual-core and 2-thread configuration that is capable of driving this laptop up to 2.8GHz with a burst frequency function.
The processor performance is also supported by the Intel UHD Graphics 600 GPU which is the next graphics processing component of this entry-level laptop.
The integrated graphics processing component is said to have a burst frequency for processing up to 650 MHz.
Because it is included in an entry-level device, the additional discrete GPU does not support the graphics performance of this local laptop. For daily use, ADVAN Soulmate comes pre-installed with the Windows 11 Home operating system.
In other words, users don't need to buy a license from Microsoft separately and this portable device is ready to use.
In terms of storage, this laptop comes with a standard RAM capacity of 4GB DDR4 which feels ready to support the user's daily use.
Interestingly, ADVAN Soulmate still uses RAM in the form of slot-installed SODIMMs.
In other words, users still get upgrade options or increase RAM capacity on this local laptop even with a dual channel memory configuration for more optimal performance. To accommodate daily user data, ADVAN Soulmate is now available in two retail products with different types and storage capacities.
In its variant, this laptop comes with eMMC-based internal storage with a capacity of 128 GB.
Meanwhile, in other versions, users can find the ADVAN Soulmate which uses a SATA SSD with a capacity of 256GB to store the user's daily data.
ADVAN Soulmate itself comes with a modern minimalist design and a classic or portable clamshell shape.
In terms of appearance, this portable device has a horizontal screen measuring 14 inches and weighing 1.4 kg.
